Hot tub installation

1. Location
The place your hot tub is to be located must be able to support the weight of the hot tub + water + people check with your local building codes for the support needed for deck installation. Your deck may need to be reinforced to hold the hot tub.

In order to install your hot tub on a raised deck you will need a crane to lift the hot tub. The cost for a crane will range from 300 to 450 dollars.

2. Electrical
You will need an electrician to run a power supply for your hot tub most larger hot tubs use 22o volts.

3. Water You will need a water source water will need to be added from time to time and your hot tub will need to be drained at some time so a plan to fill and drain will need to be addressed.
